"Life is like a camera...focus on what's important capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out take another shot."

I'm a native from the small and beautiful Titusville, Fl. Many people ask where my love for the life of broadcast journalism started, and I can say full of confidence it all started at a non-profit organization. I went to the Boy's & Girl's Clubs of Central Florida. I was a member of the Mims Branch. I was a Spokesperson for all BGCs in Brevard county.
My mentor and staff members believed that being such a young youth, I had the capabilities of communicating well and getting my point across effectively. Growing up, I wanted to become an actress because it gave me the freedom to create an imagination beyond my dreams. At age nine, that all changed. I got the chance to visit a news station, CW 18, in Orlando, Fl.
I got to see reporters tell news stories in their way. I admired the storytelling and creating a presence of being in front of the camera, giving people the information they may need. Fast forward to over a decade later, I serve as a reporter and anchor at WCBD in Charleston, South Carolina.
Getting to know me, I'm a ball of sunshine that can bring light into a dark room. That has dedication and motivation to learn from peers and succeed in the newsroom. I can create anything out of something. With opportunity, anything is possible.
